Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for various facets of HRP's Information Technology Department including but not limited to:

• Support comprehensive business systems analysis; work with internal SMEs to define business requirements and develop application and user interface design of HRP's Encounter Data Processing Solution
• Gathering and documenting requirements
• Designing application and user interfaces
• Understanding how applications support business processes and applying this knowledge to solve business problems
• Providing advice and recommendations to the business on the use of technology and systems
• Involvement with the definition of test cases and performance of system and acceptance testing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - This position requires the following minimal requirements:

• Healthcare industry experience (Medicare preferred)
• Experience with X12/EDI claims processing (specifically 837I/837P)
• Experience with EDI implementation (preferably with Medicare/Medicaid plans)
• Basic knowledge of SQL, ETL, EDI.
• Knowledge of structured test methods and processes.

Travel Requirements: - Minimal

Education: - Relevant experience acquired through a degree course (or equivalent) or 5 years relevant experience.

Experience: - Required

• Claims processing with X12/EDI specifically 8371/837P.
• EDI implementation (preferably with Medicare/Medicaid Plans).
